Bradley Agnew

Agnew, Bradley
1951 - 1997

Beloved husband, father and son passed away Sunday December 21, 1997 at his home following a brief illness.  Age 46 years.  Brad was born February 7, 1951 in Saginaw.  He married Catherine Ramah on September 4, 1983. She survives him.  Brad was employed at Nodular and Grey Iron Foundry for 25 years, retiring in 1996.  He also owned Agnew Landscape Service.  He was a life long member of Grace Lutheran Church.  Brad was a member of U.C.T., Ducks Unlimited, UAW Local 668, volunteered at Hemmeter Elementary School, Saginaw Township Soccer Association and Saginaw Township Recreational Sports.  He drove race cars and was a stock car enthusiast and avid hunter and fisherman.  Surviving besides his wife are one daughter Rebekah C. Agnew at home; his mother Arlene Schrader Agnew, two sisters and one brother; Jeri Lynn and Derek Shepard, Judy A. Jackson, Larry and Karen Meacham, all of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews, god childen, Kelly Vieau, Stacey Shepard and Hunter Lynn Roy.  In-laws surviving are:  Patricia and Samuel Shaheen, Joanne Ramah, Peter and Marcia Ramah, Joseph and Grace Ramah, and a life long friend Duane Vieau.  Brad was predeceased by his father George D. Agnew one sister Wendy Sue Agnew, his mother-in-law Pearl Ramah, and brothers-in-law David Jackson and Simon Ramah.

Funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m. Wednesday December 24, 1997 at Grace Lutheran Church, 4680 Tittabawassee.  Rev. John C. Boldt will officiate.  Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road after 7:00 p.m. Monday where family will be present from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.   Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Grace Lutheran Church, Hemmeter Parent Teacher Council or the Charity of your Choice.
