Dennis George Haefele age 71 passed in Saginaw, Michigan on Monday September 26th, 2022. He was born to Edward & Maryanne Haefele, on August 28th, 1951 in Saginaw Michigan. Dennis graduated from Douglas McArthur High School. Dennis was a highly skilled artisian with paint and woodworking. He avidly loved music, nature, fishing, boating, cars and traveling. Dennis was an officer for the State of Michigan and retired from SRF. He was a kind and loving partner to his spouse Bonnie, as well as an amazing father, brother and friend. He was married to the love of his life, Bonnie Haefele (Morse) and just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August. Dennis was predeceased by parents Edward & Maryanne Haefele. Dennis is survived by wife Bonnie, son Aaron Haefele (Nirad), daughter Sheri LaLone (Marc) and granddaughter Sadie. Siblings Janice (Jerry) Blanchard, Alan (Barb) Haefele, Dale (Sue) Haefele, Terry (Debbie) Haefele. Other family in Florida Bob & Marylou Morse, Connie (Dick) Price. Many special nieces, nephew and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday October 7, 2022 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Freeland, MI. Rev. Fr. Christian Tabares will officiate. Per Dennis’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of services. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Saginaw City Rescue Mission, Sacred Kashi Ashram in Sebastian, Florida or St. Agnes Church in Freeland MI.
