RACINE - Thomas R. Hayes, 60, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Monday, May 2, 2011. Tom was born in South Bend, Ind. on September 6, 1950, to Robert E. and Dorothy (nee: Bennett) Hayes. Tom and Donna were married in West Allis on December 13, 1975. Tom worked as a Machinist at Delphi Corporation. He was a member of Northside Calvary Church. Tom enjoyed Bible studies, biking, and reading. He was also interested in geography and topography. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hayes; children, Eric Robert (Krystal) Hayes, Jamie Lynn (Mike) Poe, and Justin Thomas Hayes; granddaughter, Olivia Helen Hayes born May 1, 2011; step-grand- daughters, Courtney and Leah Poe; step-great- grandson, Jordan Daniel Kennedy; brother, Ronald (Kay) Hayes; and sister, Lucy (Randy) Bourdon. Tom is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services for Tom will be held at Northside Calvary Church, 5734 Douglas Avenue, on Friday, May 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Holm officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Highway 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
