Max passed away on October 14, 2002.  He left three children, eight grandchildren, his mother, his brother and sister-in-law, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, to cherish his memory.  He will be remembered lovingly, as a good son and brother, a hard worker, a dedicated soldier, and a devoted father and grandfather. Having his children and grandchildren visit, gave Max a great deal of happiness and joy.  

Max graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School.  Max proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine, and during that service, learned many lifelong lessons. He carried those lessons with him, and passed those lessons and values on to his children.  Though he will be terribly missed, his family takes comfort knowing that he is celebrating the newly found ability to run, sing, and laugh in Heaven, without pain or discomfort.
