Pohlmann, Rickie James (Rick)
1951 - 1980

Passed away Sunday afternoon August 17, 1980 at Hurley Hospital in Flint due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident.  Age 29 years.  Mr. Pohlmann was born July 14, 1951 in Saginaw and had been a lifelong resident.  He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1969.  He married Barbara Braun on August 18, 1972 in Saginaw.  She survives him.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  He had been employed by S.W.R. Construction Company for the past four years.  Surviving besides his wife are one son, Joshua Rick, at home; his father, Harold Pohlmann, a brother, Ronald Pohlmann, all of Saginaw; four nieces and nephews.  His mother Mrs. Madolyn Pohlmann predeceased him on February 25, 1975.

Funeral service will take place 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St. and 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  Rev. Patrick Gawrylewski will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday where they will meet with relatives at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a scripture service.
