Passed away unexpectedly at his home Thursday evening, March 7, 1974. Age 22 years. He was born Aug. 16, 1951, in Saginaw. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1969. He was employed at STRIMAC Sales and Construction Inc. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans R. Staib, Saginaw; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Gilman, Mrs. Dennis (Janet) Hutton and Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Shook, all of Saginaw; Miss Judith Marie Staib, Manitou Beach, Mich.; his grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Griffor, Saginaw; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Monday at the Gugel-Wakeman Funeral Home, 419 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Donald L. Loomer will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the family will be present 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
