Passed away Sunday, May 19, 1996 at her home after a brief illness. Age 45 years. Josee Vowell was born on December 29, 1950 in Ann Arbor. She married Henry (Rick) Alvarez Jr. on January 25, 1969. He survives her. Josee was employed as a Meijer Associate in Ann Arbor for the past four years. Surviving besides her Husband henry are three daughters and one son, Angela Alvarez Sujek and her husband Chris, Fenton; Martha Alvarez, Rick Alvarez and Elizabeth Alvarez, all of Chelsea, one granddaughter, Alexandra Alvarez; her parents, John and Martha Vowell, Saginaw; four sisters and two brothers, Joan Colwell, Indian River; Dennis Vowell, Saginaw; Kathy Thompson, Saginaw; Claudia Wallace, Hemlock; John Vowell, Saginaw and Julie Wendzik, Saginaw.
Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 1996 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Rev. Paul R. Stacy will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions to Josee L. Alvarez Memorial Fund.
